Maloti Scenic Route...
Maloti is the longest and fastest growing scenic route in southern Africa. The route covers the substantial mountainous areas of Lesotho, Eastern Free State and theEastern Cape. Originating from Harrismith, the route passes through Ladybrand, Hobhouse, Wepener, Vanstadensrus and Zastron in the Motheo District. The route seeks to create a flow of visitors to these areas opening up the scenic region providing a variety of experiences.
Maloti route provide the travellers with diverse cultural experiences which include Basotho, Xhosa, Afrikaans and English cultures found in small rural towns and villages.
Given the natural beauty and picturesque mountains activities include breathtaking scenic view points, bird watching, horse riding, 4x4 and hiking trails.
